Abstract: In this paper, we want to show the photoluminescence(PL) properties, electric properties and surface morphology of ZnO thin films which were irradiated by KrF excimer laser under different atmospheres (air, oxygen, nitrogen). After laser irradiation(no matter whatever atmosphere), compared with the as-prepared thin films, the irradiated thin films exhibit a series of visible properties: resistivity is decreased by three orders of magnitude, carrier concentration is increased...$28.00

A picosecond pulsed laser has demonstrated successful selective ablation of different thin film layers from multilayer stacks on flexible substrates allowing structuring of large area flexible organic electronic devices. These thin film layers are extremely thin and sensitive to thermal damage, so the ultrashort pulse duration combined with the flexibility to use infrared, gree...$28.00

The sensitivity required for optical fiber sensors such as fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) is highly dependent on applications, environment of use and the magnitude of measured physical parameters. Such sensitivity dependencies are more complicated if FBGs are embedded in metallic structures using laser-assisted additive ma...$28.00

This work describes the fabrication of silver/polymeric matrix conductive tracks on a low density polyethylene (LDPE) structure using laser direct writing technology. This has enabled the direct writing of 3-dimensional small circuit boards when discrete electronic components are included into the writing process. In this project, the laser beam was reconstructed by diffractive optica...$28.00

Picosecond pulsed UV-lasers enable micromachining down to a few microns in nearly all kinds of solid materials like metals, ceramics and polymers. However, precise machining results with high surface quality require a defined sublimation process [1]. Problems arise by accurate focal positioning on the work piece surface and by decreasing laser power for long machining times caused by laser and temperature influence on o...$28.00
