Strong concern for the global environmental issues has brought dramatic growth of clean energy market since the late 1990s. In order to meet huge demand for solar energy, together with our expansion of the production of the crystalline Si solar cells and modules, we have been researching thin film silicon materials and developing solar cells and modules with these new materials.
In 2005, we started mass production of the crystalline thin film silicon based solar cells and modules. In this article, our activities for thin film PV technologies and module applications are presented.
